The phenomenon described in the picture seems to happen in our daily lives. Four people sit around the table and are deeply attracted by the content of their mobile phones, but the food on the table is not eaten. And below the picture, there is a caption that says, "a gathering in an era of mobile phones".

Maybe they're talking, maybe they're addicted to games, maybe they're taking pictures and ready to seen moments later... we don't know. But mobile phones have indeed become an indispensable part of life. Although mobile phones have brought many conveniences to our lives, such as shopping on mobile phones, online learning, and instant chatting, the negative impact of mobile phones on us cannot be ignored. First, mobile phones take up too much of our time, which could been used to accompany our families, socialize with friends, participate in outer activities, or read books. Second, excessive use of mobile phones harms vision and the cervical spine, especially for minors.

However, we have indeed entered an irreversible digital era because of mobile phones. The emergence of anything new is inevitably questioned, just as in the early twentieth century when cars first appeared, people thought that cars could not replace carriages. Similarly, two decades ago, when digital cameras first emerged, people stubbornly believed film cameras could not be replaced by digital cameras, but the collapse of Kodak marked the end of the film era. So it's wise to accept new things with an open and inclusive attitude.

The pie chart shows the proportion of residents' consumption during the Spring Festival. Among them, spending on New Year's gifts accounts for 40%, which is the highest proportion of all expenses, while the proportion of expenses for transportation and party if 20% respectively. The remaining 20% is spent on other consumption.

After a year of hard work, people are often willing to buy new clothes and gifts for themselves and their families during the Spring Festival. This explains why the cost of buying gifts is twice that of transportation. At the same time, urbanization has made more young people leave the countryside and their hometowns to work, and visiting relatives and friends during the Spring Festival inevitably leads to another 40% of transportation and dinner expenses.

However, giving gifts during the Spring Festival also causes unnecessary waste. Rational consumption is preferable. What people look forward to is not the emotion maintained by gifts, but the wonderful experience of accompanying parents and relatives on the special day of Spring Festival.
